Description

Dastardly and Muttley and their Flying Machines Title Cel Setup with Key Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1969-70). "Stop the Pigeon!" After Dick Dastardly emerged as a star following The Wacky Racers, he was given his own show with Muttley as his sidekick. It premiered on 9/13/69. This is an amazing hand-painted Main Title cel that showcases Yankee Doodle Pigeon being chased by Dick Dastardly, Muttley and the Vulture Squadron. It also has the hand-painted graphics on cel of "Dastardly and Muttley" The hand-painted Title cel is on its Key Master hand-painted background. An episode title would be added to this held Title cel in the beginning of each episode. This image can also be seen on page 155 in the Art of Hanna-Barbera book by Ted Sennet. Background is marked 47 MT (Main Title). Any vintage setup of Dick Dastardly and Muttley from this era are considered rare. Fine condition.
