    Description

Wild Wife and Wild Wild World Concept Art Group of 2 (Warner Brothers, 1954/60). Two rare character studies for two of the shorts directed by Robert McKimson that were his specialty. Wild Wife was released on 2/20/54, and Wild Wild World was released on 2/27/60, and both were written by Tedd Pierce. Wild Wife is about the daily life of the American housewife and has a nice "John and Marsha" reference. Wild Wild World was a parody of the series Wide Wide World hosted by Dave Garroway (in this short, it's Cave Garroway!). Graphite with red highlights on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper, possibly from the hand of McKimson himself. A rare look in to the early workings of a Looney Tunes short. In Fine condition.
