Who Framed Roger Rabbit Toontown Concept Art by Ron Dias (Touchstone/Amblin, 1988). Robert Zemekis directed this landmark animated feature film that combined classic animation with live action footage where human characters cross over into a place called Toontown. This is a rare, early, and original piece of concept art by the hand of Disney Background artist Ron Dias (1937 - 2013). Ron Dias did concept artwork for Toontown and also painted backgrounds for this film. The painting is gouache on a 6" x 9.5" sheet of paper and mounted to a 9" x 12.5" piece of illustration board. Mr. Diaz hand labeled the artwork along the border "Roger Rabbit" Toontown Alleyway Night and signed it on bottom left. Condition is Fine.
