Wes Cook - Mask Design Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1960s/70s). Wes Cook, the legendary theme park designer, was instrumental in designing major parts of Disney's Tokyo Seven Seas when he was a Walt Disney Imagineer. He also was an Art Director and Conceptual Designer for Seuss Landing at Florida's Islands of Adventure and also helped design Punchy's Hawaiian Punch Band animatronics in Sea World. This is a series of concept paintings of various Tiki-type masks similar to his work at Sea World on the "Tiki Dolphin Show." Each mask is approximately 4" to 5" tall. Done in gouache on 14" x 25" board, the artwork is signed by Cook. Clear acetate has been placed over the artwork. Very rare Wes Cook original artwork, in Fine condition.
