Walt Disney Stamp Design Concept Art Signed by Roy E. Disney with Vintage Photo (Walt Disney, c. 2001). Letter with an original graphite preliminary design for a 100th Anniversary postage stamp honoring Walt Disney, drawn by Disney Legend Carson Van Osten, and signed by Roy E. Disney. The design was used for a Portugal postage stamp, part of a block of nine Disney-themed stamps issued in 2001. Roy E. Disney (1930 - 2009) was a longtime senior executive at the studio, and the last member of the Disney family (Walt was his uncle) to be involved with the company. The letter is framed with glass for an overall size of 11.5" x 14". Also included is a print of Walt reading to the juvenile stars of Song of the South, Luana Patten and Bobby Driscol; it's framed with glass for an overall size of 13" x 10". Both items came directly from Carson Van Osten's personal files. The photo frame has a few scratches; otherwise Fine condition. From the Carson Van Osten Archives.
