    Valley of the Dinosaurs Presentation Pitch Original Art Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, 1974). "Flung into a world that time forgot!" This show premiered on 9/7/74 on CBS and featured science teacher John Butler, his wife Kim, kids Greg and Katie, and their dog Digger. They get swept up in a whirlpool on the Amazon and end up in a prehistoric cavern. The met Caveman Gorok and his family Gara, Lok, Tana, and their pet dino Glump. This is the original "Pitch" art that was presented to sell this show. The lot has an oversized graphite drawing of the two families meeting. The paper measures 19" x 21", and is mounted to light board. Image sizes are 3" to 7". There is tape on the bottom border, with folds, minor handling, and edge wear. Also included is the finished ink and color marker artwork created from this drawing that was used for the studio pitch to the networks and advertisers. Marker is on paper, with overlay line on top cel. Overall 16" x 12". Both families in full are represented on both pieces. Considered very rare. Minor handling on finished art. Overall condition for both pieces is Very Good. Two detailed pieces in this lot!
