DescriptionTo Itch His Own Mighty Angelo the Flea Concept Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1958). He's "The World's Strongest Flea" but even the star of a flea circus needs some time off. That's the premise of this Chuck Jones-directed short, which was released on 6/28/58. This would be Mighty Angelo's only appearance during the classic era of WB cartoons, and the final Warners cartoon scored by Carl Stalling. This is a rare original concept sketch of Angelo, in the early stages of his design. Art is in graphite on 16 field 3-peghole animation paper, with a full-figure image that measures 5" x 4.5". Condition is Very Good, with minor handling and edge wear.
