    Description

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Oogie Boogie Concept Art (Touchstone/Walt Disney, 1993). "... Mr. Oogie Boogie is the meanest guy around. If I were on his Boogie list, I'd get out of town" This is a fantastic piece of concept art in pastel on black board of Oogie Boogie. The infamous Boogeyman is depicted as a bug-filled burlap sack with a penchant for gambling. Oogie lives on the outskirts of Halloween Town, in a casino-like lair underneath the treehouse of his henchmen Lock, Shock, and Barrel. It is not known what this was created for, but it's likely style guide artwork for consumer products such as clothing designs, books, or calendars. The artwork measures 9.25" x 10", floated in a frame of 17.5" x 18.25" under Plexiglas. The frame has a matboard aperture of 10" x 10.5". Frame sold as-is. A rare piece of original artwork from the mind of Tim Burton! Condition is Fine.
