Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas Mayor Concept Drawing (Touchstone/Disney, 1993). The two-faced mayor of Halloween Town is one of the most beloved and recognizable characters from this popular Tim Burton stop-motion musical. Presented is an original character concept drawing of the Mayor with his happy side showing by assistant art director on the film, Kelly Asbury. It's rendered in mixed media and measures 7" x 11.5" on 9.5" x 15.5" paper. The art is signed and dated '93 by the artist in the lower right. This signed one-of-a-kind character concept drawing from one of Tim Burton's most popular films is incredibly rare and certainly a Nightmare Before Christmas collector's dream. The piece is in a 13" x 19" mat with an 8.5" x 14.5" opening. The paper shows minor handling, and there is a fold crease along the right side; otherwise condition is Very Good.Auction Info
