The Tracey Ullman Show/The Simpsons Concept Art Group of 6 (Fox, 1987). The Tracey Ullman Show debuted on Fox TV on 9/5/98. This Emmy Award-winning show ran for four seasons and in Episode 3 of the first season, we are introduced to the Simpsons. They made seven appearances in Season 1 and were such a hit that they appeared on every episode in Season 2 and 3 before ultimately getting their own prime-time show. This is a series of six boards of colored pencil on black board of concept artwork of The Tracey Ullman Show's opening credits. The theme song for the opening was done by George Clinton. Two regular cast members of this show would go on as longtime voice talent for The Simpsons. They can be seen in some mock-up photos in this concept art. Four of the boards measure 7" x 20" while the two main boards/paper are 15" x 20". This is an important lot in terms of its Simpsons history. Some minor handling and edge wear is present; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
