Description
The Simpsons "Co-Dependents Day" Layout Drawing (Fox, 2004). In a parody of the release of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, Homer, Bart, and Lisa see the newest Cosmic Wars film, The Gathering Shadow. Offered in this lot is an original layout drawing of the line of moviegoers standing outside the theater as the Simpsons exit at the 3:49 mark. It's a fantastic collection of new and old secondary Simpsons characters in Cosmic Wars costumes from episode 15 of season 15. All are in full-figure and together measure 12.5" x 9" rendered in graphite on 29.5" x 11" pan animation paper with a 20th Century Fox seal. It's an incredibly funny take on cosplay associated with Star Wars and the episode itself is a biting commentary on the newer Star Wars films of the 1990s and early 2000s. The one-of-a-kind drawing comes with a studio issued Certificate of Authenticity. It shows handling and fold creases; otherwise condition is Very Good.Auction Info
