The Rescuers Down Under Miss Bianca and Bernard Character Design Art Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1990). George C. Scott was the voice for this film's villain, poacher Percival C. McLesh. Here is a rare series of three early character development drawings by Visual Designer in the Disney Visual Development Department, Alvaro Arce. These were early development drawings and it is interesting to see imagery where the character has a mustache in one, and not in the other. The first piece is 8" tall and rendered in graphite and brown pencil on 11" x 8.5" paper. Second piece is on the same size paper with the drawing done in graphite and brown pencil measuring 7". The third piece of this hard to find Disney villain is in graphite and brown pencil measuring 7" on 16 field animation paper. Two of the three are signed by the artist. Minor handling and edge wear; otherwise, condition is Good. From the Alvaro Arce Collection.
