The Rescuers Down Under Early Development Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1990). This 29th Disney animated feature film was a sequel to the 1977's The Rescuers. Its villain was Percival C. McLeish, who was voiced by the great actor George C. Scott. This is a pair of early development/concept art pieces by longtime animation artist, Mr. Alvaro Arce. Both depict McLeish in his poaching mobile, along with a possible new character on one that was to be called Gordo. Detailed graphite on 3-peghole 12 field animation sheet on the first piece. The detailed artwork takes up the entire page. The second page is loose rough concept work on lightweight board measuring 15" x 10.5". Both are signed by the artist on reverse and dated 1988. Minor handling and edge wear. Overall condition is Good.
