The Prince and the Pauper Street Scene Overhead View Concept Drawing (Walt Disney, 1990). "The good king became ill, and a darkness fell over the countryside." This short featured the voice work of the late Wayne Allwine as Prince Mickey and Pauper Mickey. The story takes place in England. This is a stunning layout/concept artwork of the streets where Pauper Mickey lives. It can be seen in the opening panning shots, around 1:40 into the short. It was created by longtime layout and concept artist Mr. Alvaro Arce. He had the title Visual Development Artist on this film. The artist has signed this impressive piece of artwork in the bottom right corner. Graphite on 19" x 12.5" paper. Some whiteout along the bottom border. Minor handling and edge wear. Concept artwork from this short is very rare. Very Good condition. From the Alvaro Arce Collection.
