    The Little House Concept Painting by Mary Blair (Walt Disney, 1952). "'Gracious me,' thought the little house. What perfectly elegant neighbors!" This charming theatrical short was directed by Wilfred Jackson, with animation by Marc Davis, Les Clark and Clair Weeks and backgrounds by Claude Coats. The short was narrated by the great Sterling Holloway. It was released on 8/8/52. This is an outstanding original Mary Blair concept painting of the Little House as the "new neighbors" move in, right before the fire. You can see this image come to life around the 2:20 mark into the short. Stunning evening setting. Gouache on board of 10" x 8". Matted with an opening size of 11" x 9"; framed with glass. Pinholes in corners, otherwise Fine condition.
