The Lion King Pride Rock Color Key Painting (Walt Disney, 1994). The Lion King was the 32nd animated feature film from the Walt Disney Studios. To say it was a blockbuster would be somewhat of an understatement. The film grossed over $968 million at the box office! Not bad for a film that was pitched as "the story of a lion cub that gets framed for murder by his uncle set to the music of Elton John." The centerpiece for the film is Pride Rock. From The Lion King we have a fantastic Color Key painting of Pride Rock. The piece, rendered in gouache, measures 5.25" x 2.75" in a frame of 14.25" x 11.5". Frame sold as-is. Color Keys are very rare and highly sought after by astute animation art collectors. This is a piece that is not to be missed by fans of The Lion King. Fine condition.
