The Iron Giant Concept Art (Warner Brothers, 1999). A wonderfully expressive piece of concept art from the 1999 Warner Brothers animated film The Iron Giant, it features Hogarth and his enormous new friend getting to know each other while hiding out in Dean's art studio. It's the work of animation legend Vic Haboush who was one of the trailblazing young animators of the '50s. This black line print measures 11" x 8.5", is hand-embellished by Mr. Haboush using pastel, charcoal, graphite, and gouache. This is an early concept drawing, as the Giant was changed from the riveted style shown here. The piece shows some minor handling wear; otherwise, condition is Fine. From the Vic Haboush Archives.
