    Description

    The Great Mouse Detective Storyboard/Character Development Drawings Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1986). Set of three adorable hand-drawn early versions of characters from Disney's 26th animated feature film. The drawings are in ink with watercolor or gray wash on paper. The first is a scene featuring Olivia Flaversham, Mrs. Judson, and Dr. Dawson, with Basil of Baker Street sitting behind them, nursing a sore finger. The drawing is on paper measuring 11" x 7.25". The second piece is a model sheet or animator's test page, with a total of thirteen sketches of Olivia, most being head shots. Paper measures 11" x 8.5". The final piece is a study of Basil, reaching for something by his chair (a gun, perhaps). Paper measures 11" x 7.5". Minor handling wear on all; Very Good condition.
