    Description

The Fox and the Hound Concept Painting/Illustration (Walt Disney, 1981). Depicted in this original concept painting is the prelude to the climactic battle that ultimately brings the fox and the hound together again. It shows Tod coming upon the scene of Amos Slade caught in one of his own traps, as Copper prepares to defend him against an angry grizzly. This film was a big hit for Disney animation in 1981 and was their most expensive to date. Here is an original gouache painting of arguably the most gripping scene from this movie and it measures 24.5" x 13" on 27" x 15" illustration board. It's a stirring image and a true work of art from one of Disney's most popular films of the 1980s. It shows minor handling wear. Condition is Very Good.
