    Description

The Flintstones French's Mustard Bottle Concept Art by Willie Ito Group of 3 (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1980s). Baseball-themed design art for a French's Mustard squeeze bottle, part of a series of cartoon image bottles the company produced in the mid-1980s. There are two pieces of original art here, both from the hand of legendary animator Willie Ito. The first is an early rough concept drawing in graphite and green pencil on 11" x 8.5" paper, with an overall image size of 7.75" x 3.5". The second piece shows the final design of Fred, Barney, and Dino playing ball, drawn in graphite and blue pencil on three pieces of onionskin paper that are mounted to a backing sheet, which is attached to a second backing sheet. These are detailed drawings, with image sizes of 4.25", 3.5", 3.75", and 2.75", with an overall image area measuring 13" x 6". A color copy print of the finished, colored art is also included. Very Good condition.
