The Flintstones Christmas Card Concept Art by Willie Ito (Hanna-Barbera, 1984). Many people collect original Holiday/Christmas cards given out by the various animation studios to employees and vendors. This is the actual preliminary design artwork for the Hanna-Barbera Studio 1984 Holiday/Christmas Card. It features the entire Flintstone and Rubble families in a sled pulled by Dino. The artwork was done in graphite, blue pencil, and ink by Willie Ito. An image of this finished artwork can be seen in Ted Sennet's book The Art of Hanna-Barbera on page 99. This lot includes the original artwork, the printer's color proof the final colored image (with a slightly altered drawing), and the actual printed sample of the card. WOW! Artwork is on two conjoined sheets of onionskin paper with Dino's image measuring 6" and the families at 9". The drawing is taped to a backing board measuring 15" x 10". Extremely rare original studio holiday card artwork! Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
