DescriptionThe Flintstones Busch Beer TV Commercial Concept/Layout Drawings and Production Cel Group of 30 (Hanna-Barbera, 1967). When your due for a beer, Busch does it!" This is the tag line that was presented to Busch distributors and retailers in this very funny 19-minute Flintstones animated promo film. In it, Fred and Barney are running a tavern and serving up (and drinking) plenty of Busch Beer. This animated film lays out the Busch Beer ad and marketing campaign for 1967 and can currently be seen on YouTube. One of the many highlights of this films are the Clydesdinos (prehistoric Clydesdales) pulling the Anheuser-Busch Wagon! This is a rare collection of 30 layout drawings from this film produced by Hanna-Barbera's commercial division, which was overseen by Art Babbitt. They include great scenes of Fred at work, Fred and Barney drinking Busch Beer, the ClydesdInos, title layouts, and one cel of Busch Beer bottles and cans. Very little artwork has ever been seen from this unique piece of Bedrock advertising history. Minor handling, edge wear, tears, and folds. Condition is Good. From the Art Babbit Archives.
