The Black Cauldron Witches of Morva Concept Drawings Group of 3 by Milt Kahl (Walt Disney, 1985). This film had a large number of young talented animators and artists new to Walt Disney Feature Animation. One of Walt's original "Nine Old Men," Disney Legend Inductee Milt Kahl (1909-1987) was brought back in to mentor this new crew and assist with character design for this film, as well as provide hands-on advice and training. This is a series of incredible large original character design drawings from the hand of Mr. Kahl of the Three Witches of Morva -- Orgoch, Orwen, and Orddu. Art is in ink, graphite, and gray wash on paper measuring 14" x 17". Great main images with sizes of 11" to 12" with character studies besides them. Artwork from the hand of Mr. Milt Kahl of this quality are considered very rare. Minor handling and edge wear; pinholes in corners. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Archives.
