Description
The Black Cauldron Witches of Morva Concept Drawings by Andreas Deja Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1985). The magical black cauldron that is so desired by the evil Horned King, and which Taran must find first, resides with the three witches from the Marshes of Morva -- Orddu, Orwen, and Orgoch. Here they are, in a set of original art studies from the hand of Andreas Deja. Mr. Deja was inducted as a Disney Legend in 2015, after his work on so many Disney animated films. His very first assignment for Disney was doing character visual development for The Black Cauldron. His work on this was so good, he was moved in animation on this film. These are very early sketches of the witches, some of the first work Mr. Deja did for Disney. Art is in ink, red pencil, and gray and red wash, with designs filling each 16 field page. Condition is Very Good with minor handling wear.Auction Info
