DescriptionThe Black Cauldron Fflewddur Fflam and Witches of Morva Character Design Drawings by Milt Kahl Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1985). This film had a large number of young talented animators and artists new to Walt Disney Feature Animation. One of Walt's original "Nine Old Men," Disney Legend Inductee Milt Kahl (1909 - 1987) was brought back in to mentor this new crew and assist with character design for this film, as well as provide hands-on advice and training. This is a series of character design drawings by Mr. Kahl, with four pages of Fflewddur Fflam sketches plus one with the three witches, Orgoch, Orwen, and Orddu. The art is in graphite with some marker/ink sketches on 8.5" x 11" paper. One drawing of Fflewddur is mounted to a 16 field animation page. Overall condition is Very Good, with minor handling wear.
