The Black Cauldron Concept Drawings Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1985). This is a rare series of character design/concept art of Creeper, Taran, the Three Witches of Morva (Orddu, Orgoch, and Orwen), and the Dragon, Gwythaints. These are from the hand of Disney Legend Inductee, Mr. Andreas Deja. This is some of his first work done at Walt Disney Feature Animation. All are graphite, ink, and marker on three 16 field animation sheets. The Witches artwork is on paper measuring 16.5" x 11". This paper has small border rips and minor border area creases. Mr. Deja's signature is on the bottom of each sheet. Four impressive pieces of artwork in this group. The Taran pieces are cut and mounted to a 16 field sheet, balance are all drawn directly on the sheets. Large impressive images of 5" - 11". Minor handling and pinholes in corners. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Archives.
