The Art of Maurice Noble - Background Color Key (Warner Brothers, c. 1950s). The great background artist Maurice Noble joined forces with Chuck Jones at Warner Brothers in 1952 and they stayed together through the early 1960s. This was something of a reunion as they had initially worked together on Private Snafu shorts during World War II. Here is a very rare background Color Key for a Warner Brothers theatrical short. It is painted on board measuring 5.5" x 6". This interesting study in shapes and color is framed with a mat opening of 6" x 7", in an overall frame measuring 12" x 14". Condition is Fine.
