    The Art of Jack Ferges - Theme Park Painting (Walt Disney, c. 1950s-60s). "All aboard!" Jack Ferges started in the animation department at Disney, but became a model builder and sculptor at Imagineering at WED in the 1950's. He worked as a sculptor on Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Small World, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Journey into Imagination, Jungle Cruise, Country Bear Jamboree, and so many more. He retired from WED in 1987. This is an original painting attributed to Mr. Ferges for an unknown theme park project. It is in gouache on board measuring 9.5" x 10.5". There is minor handling wear and surface dirt; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
