Description

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Grumpy's Bath Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1937). "Ain't he sweet! Smells like a petunia! He sure is cute!" The dwarfs say this to Grumpy after they wash him up so they can all eat Snow White's dinner. This is an outstanding stylized concept drawing of Grumpy that we see at the end of the "Washing Song" sequence, when the other six wash up this clearly reluctant dwarf. This is possibly a Ferdinand Horvath original; he did a great deal of character design on Snow White. Horvath not receive any film credit and it is thought that this did not sit well with him; it may have contributed to him leaving the studio. Amazing detailed art in colored pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation sheet. Great image, with a size of 4". Paper is marked Sc. 36. Minor handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
