DescriptionSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs Concept/Layout Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). The Dwarfs arrive home to find something is amiss in this early concept drawing from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This beautifully detailed early layout features all seven of the dwarfs in the early stages of development of this historic feature film. While the scene it appears flipped in the final film at the 27:33 mark, there are similarities to this image such as the pick resting against the wall in the foreground and Dopey peering through Sleepy's beard. The image is rendered in graphite and framed in red pencil measures 6.5" x 5" on a 10" x 9.5" sheet of paper. It is numbered 39 in the upper right and has some light sketches of details on a key in the lower right. The drawing bears an early Disney studios copyright stamp along the bottom border making this piece particularly rare. The nearly 90-year-old paper shows handling, pinholes, edge wear and toning. Condition is Good
