    Description

Snagglepuss - Animator's Practice Drawings Group of 2 (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1960s-70s). "Heavens to Murgatroyd!" Pair of original 12 field drawings of Snagglepuss, the pink cougar with a voice like comedian Burt Lahr (actually voiced by Don Messick), starring in his own series of shorts in 1961 on The Yogi Bear Show. The first drawing has two full-figure drawings of Snagglepuss about to "exit, stage left" plus a partial figure of him in an angry shout; figure sizes are 5", 5", and 4.5". The second piece is a model sheet of Snagglepuss and a human character in a bowler hat; these 16 drawings are for mouth movements, and pretty much fill the page. Very Good condition, with a small water stain in the upper right corner of the first sheet. From the Billie Kerns Collection.
