    Description

Skeleton Warriors Character Development Art and Overview Pages Group (Landmark Entertainment, 1995). Two incredible ink on lightweight board concept illustrations for this decidedly scary (in a good way) Saturday morning cartoon series. These were done as "pitch" pieces, as the producers sought to sell the series to CBS-TV. The Lightstarr family is seen in the first, with an image size of 10.25" x 16". This image inspired the cover art of the comic book series from Marvel, issue #2. Baron Dark's creepy castle is the second piece, with an image area measuring 16.5" x 13.75". Also included is a rare group of Character Development Overview pages for the Skeleton Legion. There are two each for Spidor, Dagger, Cyborn, Banshee, each with an illustration. An illustrated Lightstarr page and an overall concept page are also in the group. Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
