DescriptionShrek Early Character Development Art (DreamWorks, 2001). Four hit feature animated films, TV Specials, A Broadway play and spinoff features have all resulted from the success of the first 2001 Shrek film. This animated feature was in long-term development throughout the 1990s. Here is a series of four character development drawings of Shrek's hands. He is writing with a feather pen, holding a card, with a marble or other small round object between his forefinger and thumb, and grasping onto a long straight object. You can see in these character development drawings, the depth that goes in to bring an animated character to life. Little hand-drawn artwork has been offered in the marketplace from Shrek as it is primarily a computer animated feature film. These four drawings are on 12 field 3 peg hole animation paper, in graphite with red highlights. Nice large images of 7" - 10". Fine condition.
