    Description

Shrek Concept Drawings Group of 3 (Dreamworks, 2001). Although Shrek came out in 2001, it had been in long-term development in the 1990s. In fact, Chris Farley was the original voice of Shrek and he supposedly had completed most of his initial dialogue before his death in 1997. Although this is a computer-generated film, the early development had some hand-drawn character development work. This is a series of three early development drawings of the lovable ogre in graphite with red highlights on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper. Nice large 8"-10" images. This is some of the only artwork of this landmark film we have seen come to market. Extremely rare.
