    Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! Background Layout Art (Hanna-Barbera, 1969). Early background layout drawing showcasing a detailed ship in dry dock. This was created for the third episode from Season 1, "A Clue for Scooby-Doo," which first aired on 9/20/69. Art is in graphite with blue pencil highlights and red Size Comparison outlines of Scooby and beach hermit Ebenezer Shark, on 17" x 11" animation paper. This is from the hand of the show's original layout designer, Mr. Alvaro Arce. Artwork of this caliber from the early days of Scooby-Doo is considered very rare. A beautiful piece of artwork in its own right. Minor handling and edge wear. Light fold in center. Very Good condition. From the Alvaro Arce Collection.
