    Scooby-Doo Watch Concept Drawings Original Art (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1970s). Artist Jack Manning (1920 - 1986) began his career illustrating funny animal comic books for Dell Comics; he drew such characters as Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck, and Uncle Scrooge. He joined Hanna-Barbera as an animator and comic book illustrator in 1959. Here is a sheet with seven different concept sketches of a Scooby-Doo watch face. The art is in ink, graphite, and blue pencil on a sheet of 16 field animation paper, turned sideways. Overall image area measures approximately 11.5" x 14.5". The sheet has been taped to a lightweight backing board. Minor handling and edge wear, with a few small tears and fold creases in the outer border area; Very Good condition.
