Roger Rabbit II: The Toon Platoon Concept Art by Thom Enriquez (Walt Disney, c. 1980s). Roger Rabbit II: The Toon Platoon is the un-produced prequel to the critically acclaimed 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It follows Roger Rabbit, learning that he is adopted, going out to search for his birth mother. In the story, Roger Rabbit was to be making the very first color cartoon. Note the black and white cartoon characters in the background. This is a piece is visual development concept art for the prequel. Visual development is a building block for any type of visual art, from concept art to graphic design, illustration, animation, and even video gaming. The artwork was created by noted visual designer and story man Thom Enriquez. The original painting is in gouache on 13" x 10" board with a protective clear sheet. Fine condition.
