    Barbarians, heroes, dragons, mechanical beasts, weird aliens, and more in this enormous grab-bag of original character studies, model sheets, and sketches for one or more proposed animated series by Cuban-American comics artist Ric Estrada (1928 - 2009), who is best known for his comic book work for EC, Dell, Hillman, St. John, Ziff-Davis, and Warren. He is most famously known for his work at DC, where he drew Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and many others. He also worked on the Flash Gordon newspaper strip, and was involved the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. This collection is drawn in graphite and blue pencil on 128 sheets of 12 field animation paper (plus one photocopy drawing). An incredible treasure trove of artwork from a true master of the field. Very Good condition with minor handling and edge wear.
