    Description

Popeye and Bluto Model Drawing Group (Max Fleischer, c. 1930s). Great set of our hero and his nemesis. In the first, Popeye looks a bit discouraged -- he's probably just been humiliated in front of Olive Oyl again. In the second, Bluto struts by, pompous as ever, looking very pleased with himself. He is dressed to the nines in a top hat, spats, and coat tails! Both are in graphite on 10 field top-peghole paper. Popeye is 4.5", and Bluto is 7.5". Fine condition.
