Pocahontas Percy the Pug Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1995). Pocahontas premiered on 6/23/95 and was the sixth animated film produced and released during the period known as the Disney Renaissance. The villain in this film was Governor Radcliffe. His accomplice was his pet pug, named Percy, voiced by Danny Mann. Percy is constantly being picked on by both Meeko and Flit. This is an early studio concept/study of Percy, created by co-director of the film, Mike Gabriel. The composition was created using pastel on 8.5" x 11" paper and mounted to black backing paper. This is a fun piece with the image measuring 5" x 5". Development or concept art from Pocahontas is considered very rare. Minor handling wear, edge wear, and pinholes in the corners; artwork is in Good condition.

More Information: EDIT: Added "...created by the co-director of the film, Mike Gabriel" to 5th sentence
