Playboy Pleasure Dome Las Vegas - 40'' x 18'' Original Concept/Pitch Art by Eric Herschong for Landmark Entertainment (LEG, 1998). This original piece of concept/pitch art was created for Landmark Entertainment Group's ambitious 1998 proposal, the Playboy Pleasure Dome in Las Vegas. Illustrated in gouache on an oversized 40" x 18" board by renowned artist and animator Eric Heschong, the artwork captures a dramatic vision for a Playboy-branded adult lifestyle resort. Landmark envisioned the Pleasure Dome as an all-inclusive destination combining hotel, casino, themed dining, live entertainment, and immersive branded environments-Playboy's answer to Hard Rock Hotel or DisneyQuest, with brand storytelling brought fully into physical space. The proposed experiences included nightclub and supper-club venues, spa and pool retreats, themed retail, high-end cabaret shows, and multimedia spectaculars, all designed to reframe Playboy as an aspirational lifestyle brand beyond its magazine origins. Heschong, celebrated for his richly detailed, theatrical style, brought the project to life with cinematic flair. Known for his work with Landmark, Universal Studios, and Walt Disney Imagineering, Heschong was a master at translating bold ideas into vivid, immersive illustrations. The Playboy Pleasure Dome remains one of Landmark's most intriguing unbuilt projects.
