Peter Pan Neverland Concept Painting by Mary Blair Original Art (Walt Disney, 1953). The last Disney animated feature film that Mary Blair worked on for Walt Disney Studios was this film. She did Color Styling and Art Direction along with John Hench, Claude Coats, and Don Da Gradi. She also did some impressive Color Key designs for Neverland. You can see one sterling example in John Canemaker's book Magic, Color, Flair: The World of Mary Blair on page 115. This is a similar piece to the one shown on this page. An outstanding visual development pastel on black paper of 12" x 9" of Neverland. If you look closely, you will even see a small Jolly Roger off the cloud-heavy "Neverland." A simple, yet stunning piece of artwork. Pinholes in the corners, with a #5, in a circle, in the bottom left corner. Minor handling wear. Very Good condition.
