    Description

Peter Pan Captain Hook and Peter Pan Swordfight Concept Painting by Mary Blair (Walt Disney, 1953). "Take that -- and let's have it!" says Captain Hook to Peter Pan in this film's finale fight on the deck of the Jolly Roger. This is an exceptionally nice, original Mary Blair concept Color Key painting of the dramatic fight scene. Peter Pan would be the last Disney animated feature film Mary would work on. "She used very light and inspired and original color schemes in this film" wrote John Canemaker. An amazing Mary Blair original gouache painting, on oversized illustration board measuring 8.5" x 21". This is early in the fight between Peter Pan and the Captain, when Hook's hat still had its large feather. Tack holes in the corners and minor handling wear. Fine condition.
