    Description

My Friend the Monkey Character Concept Drawing (Max Fleischer, 1939). "Aw, what a cute little guy!" A hurdy-gurdy man comes by Betty Boop's house and she decides she wants to buy his cute baby monkey. While Betty is outside haggling over the price, the monkey is inside causing plenty of trouble for her poor pup Pudgy. Directed by Dave Fleischer, this is a magnificent 5" x 6" graphite character design concept drawing of the monkey in question and a similar image can be seen around the 1:51 mark on YouTube. It's on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper that is unframed. A small section of the top left corner, nowhere near the art, has been torn off and the paper shows handling and edge wear. Condition is Very Good.
