Mulan Early Character Concept Drawing Signed by Thom Enriquez Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1998). Presented is an excitingly rare set of early character concept drawings created during the development of the acclaimed Disney Renaissance film Mulan. Telling the story of a young woman who poses as a male soldier to protect her family, Mulan is a widely acclaimed entry in the celebrate Disney Renaissance canon. A wide variety of iterations of the film's titular protagonist, these drawings are rendered in mixed media, four of which are signed by the talented Walt Disney concept artist Thom Enriquez. These drawings are mounted to three sheets of black paper ranging in size from 6.25" x 9.5" to 10" x 12.75". Minor studio handling and edge wear with pinholes in corners indicating use in the development process of the film.
