Mr. Bug Goes to Town Pan Layout Drawing Original Art (Max Fleischer, 1941). The "Lowlands" area in front of the songwriter's house is home to all manner of bug life. It's shown at the start of the film, as people short-cut through the broken fence, one person stopping to light a cigarette and tossing the lit match into the bug's world. Here's an early layout drawing showing a panoramic view of bug family homes, with Hoppity as he walks through the area. The art is in graphite on two conjoined pieces of animation paper; overall size is 36.5" x 13". In Fair condition with a dark rubber cement stain where the two pieces join up, plus paper toning and handling wear.
