DescriptionMr. Bug Goes to Town Honey Bee with Hoppity and Swat the Fly Layout Drawings Original Art (Max Fleischer, 1941). Bagwell's comical goons Smack the Mosquito and Swat the Fly lay in wait inside a night club light box as Hoppity and Honey Bee dance by; Swat tries to hit Hoppity with a big nail, but misses, in this original 12 field layout drawing from Mr. Bug Goes to Town. You can see this in online viewings, at about the 23:14 mark. This great image is drawn with superb detail in graphite, with an overall image area of 10.75" x 7.75", and loosely mounted to black board measuring 18" x 13". There is a vertical fold crease through the middle of the drawing, which also shows some minor handling wear and paper toning. Good condition.
