Milt Kahl The Black Cauldron Witches of Morva Character Design Concept Drawings Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1985). This film had a large number of young talented animators and artists new to Walt Disney Feature Animation. One of Walt's Nine Old Men, Disney Legend Milt Kahl (1909 - 1987), was brought in to help this film with character design as well as training. This is a trio of Milt Kahl originals of the three Witches of Morva. These are large one-of-a-kind playful painted sketches in graphite, ink, and gray wash on paper measuring 13.5" x 17.5". The paintings are labeled "Orddu as Orgoch," "Orgoch as Orwen," and "Orgoch as Orddu". Each painted image is a full 11" - 12" tall. Artwork of this quality from Milt Kahl is rare; here are three large pieces! Pinholes in corners, minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Collection.
