    Mike Ploog The Black Cauldron Henchmen Character Design Concept Art (Walt Disney, 1985). You can really see the Marvel Comics influence from Mike Ploog on this piece. This is an amazing character design study of the Horned King's Henchmen, as they all approach Taran. Amazing graphite and pastel artwork of eight heavily-armed Horned King Henchman against Taran. The artwork is on pan light board measuring 30" x 11.5", with a protective clear sheet of acetate over the artboard. Character sizes are 6" to 8". This is a fantastic piece of artwork, signed on the bottom left "Ploog." Minor handling and edge wear, and pinholes. Very Good condition. From the Joe Hale Collection.
