Mickey's Follies Background Layout Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1929). Mickey's Follies was the tenth Mickey Mouse short released. It was directed by Ub Iwerks and had Mickey Mouse singing "Minnie's Yoo Hoo." It was released on 8/8/29. Here is a pair of extremely rare background layout drawings from this cartoon. The farm animals on the roof can be seen around the :41 second mark, when the ducks with daisies on their heads are dancing. The outhouse/gallery background layout is when the cats throw apples at Patricia Pig, in response to her poor singing. It can be seen around the 3:19 mark. Both are drawn in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. Notes in bottom borders, minor handling and edge wear. Overall condition is Very Good.
